Maersk charhing cargo declaration amendment fee

Maersk Line will begin charging a cargo declaration amendment fee on shipments to destinations that require advanced manifest, starting March 1. The size of the fee will be set locally and will apply to a second or any subsequent submission of the shipping information to customs authorities. Destinations that include advance manifest include the European Union countries, the United States, Canada and Mexico.
