Howard Eng has been appointed President and CEO of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), with an expected start date late in the first quarter of 2012. Mr. Eng is returning to Canada after having worked at Hong Kong International Airport as Executive Director, Airport Operations. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Mr. Eng also worked as Vice President, Operations at Edmonton International Airport, both with Transport Canada and the Edmonton Airport Authority. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta with over 30 years of leadership experience, specializing in airport hub development. The GTAA is the non-share, not for profit corporation that operates Toronto Pearson. All revenue generated by the GTAA is reinvested back into the airport. In 2010 nearly 32 million passengers travelled through Toronto Pearson.
