DB Schenker has opened its own logistics academy to train employees in China. With around 5,000 employees in 60 cities in China, DB Schenker is one of the country’s leading logistics services providers and says there is a growing need for qualified employees in the country. Modules range from logistics concepts and continuous quality improvement to logistics controlling, project management and conflict resolution. Instructors will include employees of two Chinese universities. Over the course of a year, training groups will complete six three-day training blocks roughly every six weeks in addition to their usual work.
